Is A Mole On Upper Right Arm Of A Melanoma Patient A Concern?

I am a melanoma survivor (surgery in 2000) I have a relatively new mole on my upper right arm that is itchy and have recently noticed some discoloration in my right armpit (small spots) I have a dermatology appointment on Nov 8 but am wondering if I should try to get in sooner.
