Is A Painful Boil Deep Down The Belly Button Associated With Naval Piercing?
My 18 year old daughter just got her naval pierced 4 days ago. Now deep in her belly button there is a growth/boil/cyst/blackhead growing that is painful to touch. I cleaned it with peroxide and attempted to pull pull it out with tweezers. It is attached in the back but breaks off in pieces. No bleeding just a bit of uncomfortable pain. Can this be associated with the naval piercing even though that appears to be healing nicely?

Secondly this is an infection that requires a course of antibiotics so she needs to see a doctor about the problem
