Is A Painless Skin Abrasion Caused By An Insect Bite Dangarous In Kids?
I have a 5 year old who has a spider (or other insect??) bite on the back of her knee...received a few days ago. The bite is raised and looks like a blister, and has spread into a large bruise looking rash. It is warm to the touch but she says it does not itch or hurt (unless she bends her leg) there is no fever, lethargy, etc. But we are still concerned. Should she be seen immediately?
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having local allergic reaction on the part due to some poisonous insect bite giving rise swelling and spreading in surrounding area. He might require one course of antibiotic medicine after consulting your doctor. Give her benadryl syrup for 2-3 days as well. Ok and take care.
