Is A Pea Sized Lump Above Collarbone A Cause Of Concern?
Hi I am 27 years old and recently noticed a small pea size lump in the inside of my neck above my collar bone (right side). It doesn't hurt but I am a little worried since it seems to be by the tendon. It feels like a small bead attached to my tendon. Could this be dangerous? Any ideas on what it could possibly be?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have enlarged supraclavicular lymphnode. It can be due to reactive hyperplasia, tuberculosis or lymphoma. Chances of reactive hyperplasia is more. You should take a course of antibiotics. If it doesn't respond to treatment then you should go for biopsy. Then take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
