Is A Scaly Lesion On The Skin Despite A Normal Biopsy Report A Concern?
Newly diagnosed 33 year old type 1 Diabetic with foot granuloma type lesion called NLD. Skin in center of lesion scaly with purple ring like border. Biopsied twice and told not necessary to treat. What to do??? Is a Dermatopathologist recommened? Lesion present for 3 years with no improvement.

First of all I like to inform you that not every lesions need to be treated. Since the lesion is present over the last three years and there is no malignant pattern noted in biopsy it can be left without any intervention.
