Is A Second Dosage Of Primolut N Safe?

I had a surgical abortion on 9 April and since then, I haven t had my periods. I have taken one course of Primolut N (5mg, three times a day for five days) and still haven t had a period. I have been prescribed a second course, and am hoping I have my period. However, I want to check if I can still conceive after my second dose of primolut? How long would it take to conceive normally? I have had an ultrasound and everything was normal.

Hi,

Afte Surgical abortion normal periods get delayed &there are chances of ovulation first menstrual cycle following the surgery. So there are chances of conception are high, if no contraception is used.

After a course of Primolut N... periods follow within 8-10 days of stopping the pill.

Please wait for at least 10 days after the pills .if you don't get periods, go for a home pregnancy test, consult your doctor before taking the next dose of Primolut N.
