Is A Small Knot On The Inner Elbow A Concern?

Hi, I have noticed today that I have a small knot under the skin on the outside of my inner elbow. It s on the inside of my arm, approximately an inch below the elbow bend. It is tender to the touch, but other than that not painful. It has grown slightly in size over the last 12 hours. I have not had any recent injuries to that area and there is no discoloration to the area. Wondering what this might be? Should I be concerned?

Hello,

Is it joint related or skin related we don't know. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. It may be dermatitis or bursitis or tendinitis or arthritis.

Use cold compression, avoid pressure over it. Please consult your orthopedician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
