Is A Sting By Yellow Jacket On My Foot A Cause For Concern?
I got stung by a yellow jacket on my foot about 3-4 days ago and the sting mark has become tender, bruised, and turned a shade of purple around the sting area. I also have itching from the did of my foot where the sting is and to my ankle and the bottom of my foot. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
The swelling can persist for 5-6 days in few patient. I suggests you take antihistaminic drug like Benadryl for that. Topical steroid and antibiotic can be applied over wound. Make a paste with mixture of baking soda and water. You need to be concerned.
