Is A Surgery Required For The Treatment Of An Inflammed Sebaceous Cyst?
I have an inflammed sebaceous cyst that became bigger after using ichammol oint but didnot explode then after referring to my doctor he asked me to stop and gave me antibiotic cream and augmentin it didnot shrink but it became tender and a little bit yellow liquid started to drain so is that normal or am i going to need surgery?
If the cyst becomes yellow then let it drain completely. Do regular dressing and use oral and topical ointments. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and do surgical expression of the cyst.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
