It will take 5-7 days to treat an infected sebaceous cyst. If prescribed drugs are not working than you can chage them after an expert opinion preferably take cefadroxyl or augmentin along with combiflam or ibugesic-plus to reduce inflammation and swelling. You can use neosporin powder or soframycin cream for local application.
