Hi my son is 9 yrs boy his weight is 46 kls.he suffer tonsilitis opentym i dont want him to undergo on tonsilectomy because he is very young my friend told me to try to give him mx3 capsule to boost his immunity,is he allowed to take mx3? how and how many capsule im going to give him in order him to be healed thank you and looking for your reply doc
Hello, I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
Children are more prone to develop tonsillitis. Tonsillitis is an infection of the tonsils and needs to be treated by using anti-biotics. Mx3 may help your child to improve his immunity but it will not help to reduce the infection.
Tonsillectomy is not done for every tonsillitis case. And when it is done it will be done mostly on children as they are more prone to infection.
I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist, get your boy examined. He needs immediate care.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Dr.Prathap Kumar
