Is A Uterine Fibroid A Cause For Concern?

Is a anterior mid uterus calcifying fibroid measuring 2.6 x 2.2 x 3.1 cm bad. What is the treatment? My period is now lasting 12-14 days (used to be 5 days), heavy bleeding and large clots passed (like when I gave birth to my 2 children) and I have severe pain during my period and for a couple of days after. I do not want any more children.

Hello,

A calcifying fibroid can cause excessive bleeding and menstrual disorders. I suggest you to get the fibroid removed surgically after consulting your gynecologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
