Is A Visible Dent On Forehead After An Injury A Cause Of Concern?
My 4 year old fell and hit his forehead are just left of center on concrete. He got up and cried right away, was acting appropriately and a large hematoma has rose up. I put Ice on the area with a wet wash clothe and the swelling has gone down considerably. As I feel around the area it appears there is a dent. Do I need to have him evaluated at a hospital? No neurological deficit signs, vomiting, unequal pupils, seizure activity this far. It has been over six hours.
