Is Abdominal Pain And Belching Normal After Cholecystectomy?

I recently had gall bladder surgery. Today I had pain so bad in stomach area I thought I was having a heart attack and I couldn t touch my stomach because it hurt so bad. I started to belch and after about 30 minutes it started to ease off. I was really scared. This is the first time this has happened to me.

Yes, they are common and considered normal but the degree of severity you had was not common unless it's first few days in post operative period that too is not that much severe In general.
