Is Abdominal Pain Normal While Recovering From Jaundice?

Hello Doctor i have been diagnosed with jaundice in january 3rd and my bilirubin diogised was 2.4 which then gradually increased to 5.8. after a month long of diet control and medicine my bilirubin now stands at 1.1. SGOT at 100 and SGPT 136.

Recently i have started experiencing pain in my stomach. is this normal while a jaundice patient recover?

I have also heard that usually people get swelling in liver? how long an average person takes to recover. i still have pain and i am worried.

Hi you can get pain on the right side of abdomen below rib cage because of inflamed liver, that should settle down as the liver improves --say in 15 days or so--Regards
