General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Though fetal heart sounds start at week 7 or between 6 and half weeks but slight variations may occur. You should wait for next week while checking for sounds repeatedly on recurrent visits or follow ups before assuming any possibility of abortion.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and healthy pregnancy ahead. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
