Is Accidental Intake Of Calamine Lotion By A Toddler Harmful?
good evening. my 2yr old drank abt a t/spoon calamine lotion (7:15).. i tried giving her milk bt she only had a few sips. then an hour later she wanted to lay..then fell asleep which was at 8;30 this evening. She also has ear/throat infection at th moment so she has been going to bed early this week.

calamine lotion contains zinc oxide which is harmless when applied on skin but if ingested can cause diarrhoea and vommiting so keep it away from children with lid closed.
