Is Alcohol Consumption Safe During 6 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
I binged on alcohol right after finding out about my pregnancy (from 5 weeks 4 days to 6 weeks 2 days) because we decided to terminate and I didn t handle that decision very well. I changed my mind and I want to keep it, but have I already done too much damage? How high is the risk of something being wrong with the baby if I stay healthy the rest of the term?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if alcohol consumption safe during 6 weeks of pregnancy. Well alcohol consumption is not a healthy practice at any stage of pregnancy . So i will not at all recommend you to consume alcohol. Alcohol can lower your immunity and put you and your baby in risk . Some studies also show the consuming alcohol has teratogenic effect of fetus . So avoid alcohol and take healthy diet and consult gynecologist for proper diet. It can lead to impairment of physical and mental growth in child and can lead to birth anomalies.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
