Is Alcohol Intake Advisable Post Tonsillectomy?
I m on day 9 of recovery from having a tonsillectomy, is day 11 too soon to be drinking any alcohol? Half of the scabs have fallen off and I am eating most foods now (just no spicy or high in salt foods), and my speech is rapidly improving. I haven t had any of the heavy painkillers for two days now also.

1.Its strongly advised not to take any cold fluids or alcohol chilled.
2. If you are on antibiotics its not recommended to have any drinks.
3. Hot and cold on extreme side should be avoided.
4. Other wise you can take in limits.
5. Avoid spicy food or snacks along with the alcohol.
