Is Almox 500 Effective For Oral Infections?
Hi Doctor,I met with an accident. My tooth broke. Dentist told that my nerve is exposed to oral infections and puss might accumulate. I would be getting my treatment done in 2 weeks. Is almox 500 good medicine to avoid infections and dry puss during this time?

Almox is brand name for amoxycillin which is a beta lactum antibiotic and is effective against gram positive bacteria which most commonly cause oral and dental infections. Dosage of 500mg twice daily for 5-7 days is adequate to control infections in the mouth.
