Is An Endometrial Complex Of 6.3mm Abnormal During Post Menopause?
I am a 54 year old female. I hadn't had a period for over 6 months. I am not on hormone therapy..I have pulmonary hypertension and atrail fib. I am on coumadin. I had a US..because I bled twice in one month after not bleeding for over 6 months. Almost as if I was a 20 yr old. Transabdominal imaging demonstrats a midline uterus measuring approx 7.7cm in length and does not demonstrate the endometrail complex oe either ovary vey well. Transvaginal imaging demonstrates an anteverted utersu with an endometrail complex measuring approx 6.2mm. The rt ovary measures 2.5cm with a volume of 5.4cm The left ovary approx 2.4cm with a vol of 4.5cc No abnormal masses. Impression: Endometrial complex measures 6.3mm in thickness this is abnormal for a postmenopausal woman patient not on hormone therapy.
