Is An HIV Test Result 9 Years After Exposure Conclusive?

hello doctor i have checked hiv 1&2 antibody test the result came negative but my doubt is that before 9 years ago i went goverment hospital they are used seringe(already used someone) after that some problems were occured in my body so i was feared and not checked and after 4 years that hiv test but the result is negative and now in my body some skin problems are found like grey dots is any possibility of hiv pl tell me doctor but recently i am checked above same test(after 9.5 years) test the result is negtive

I can understand your concern. You got suspected exposure to syringe about 9 years ago and then got your HIV 1 and 2 checked 4 years back which came negative. Recent test also came negative. In most cases after definite exposure HIV infection comes positive with in two years and chances of infection coming positive after that is practically nil.

So no need to worry the test is conclusive 100% and you have no HIV infection. Don't waste your time in this health anxiety. If you can't the control the thoughts to infection then visit a psychiatrist for help.
