Is An Alkaline Phosphatase Level Of 149 A Cause For Concern?

Hello. I am a 47 year old black female. I take Vitamin B complex which contains Biotin, Flonase nasal spray, calcium, vitamin D, magnesium, Inderal and synthroid. I had a total thyroidectomy 8years old ago and a hysterectomy last year. I am concerned because my alkaline phosphatase is 149. Should I be concerned about this result?

hello,
i can understand your concern. Continue the medications that you have been taking. Level of 149U/L of alkaline phosphate is considered as normal only.
you need not be concerned about it that much.
if your other parameters of liver function test like Bilirubin, sgot,sgpt,ggt are normal, you need not worry about alkaline phosphatase.
i would recommend not to use flonase spray for very long duration as it is a steroid.
