I am taking Hydrocodone 7.5 mg & acetaminophen 325 mg 48 hours post surgical extraction of impacted wisdom tooth (#32) as well as tooth #31. Have taken 1/2 of pill, as directed, with little relief. Was instructed to take 1 full pill if not enough relief, but am wondering if I can take a 400 mg tablet of ibuprofen (prescribed to my 14-year old son for orthodontic relief, which he no longer needs). I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and get excellent relief from naproxen sodium, however have not been taking often as I have learned there is moderate interaction with my blood pressure med (lisinopril-hctz 20-12.5 M). Perhaps it is best I just take a full pill of the hydrocodone/acetaminophen as prescribed? TYIA.
