The journal of Neurology has mentioned the three modalities for the treatment of Cerebral Aneurysm(brain).
1. Endovascular coiling
2. Surgical clipping.
Both these procedure need hospitalization and subsequent side effects and risk.
3.Medical hypotensive therapy- advocated by the neurologist which is opd procedure, do not require hospitalization and subsequent risks.

Untreated aneurysm can produce catastrophic bleeding inside brain. Therefore, surgery is generally recommended. The type of surgery and when you need it depends on your symptoms and the size and type of aneurysm.
There are 2 forms of surgery: coiling and clipping
Endovascular coiling can be done without a major cut. Clipping is a major surgery.
