Is An Upper Endoscopy Procedure Advisable For Measuring Acid Level?
I have had a sour taste in my mouth on/off for almost two years. This is not due to any dental issue. MY GI doctor originaly thought it was due to GERD, medications have not worked, or I have to stop the medication for this due to tachycardia, from the medication. My physician has me scheduled for an upper endoscopy to have a capsule inserted to measure my acid levels. I am hesitant to have this done.
