Is Anaesthesia Advisable For Surgical Removal Of Bladder?
Iam 83 years old and yust finnished an 6weeks Chemotherapy to kill a cancer inside my bladder,if this is not sucsesfull my Urologic advised me to operate and take bladder out because iam stil fit and healty and replace wih a bag.But this wil be an big operation accordingly. But dat is not my worry, my worry is the how strong will the anaesthetic:
Obviously, you will need anaesthesia for bladder removal. It is a major surgery and you will certainly require strong anaesthesia. It is generally done in general anaesthesia. Because surgery may last longer, and general anaesthesia can be prolonged as per required. However it can be done in spinal anaesthesia also. You can discuss with your doctor about your needs and choice of anaesthesia.
I hope my reply will benefit you. Please write to us or me for more questions. I wish you good health. Kindly rate this reply. Thanks
