Is Anal Sex Safe After Shirodkar S Operation?

Hi, I m 18 weeks pregnant and have done shirodkar operation, I have been advised not to have asexual intercourse, so I need to know if it is safe to have anal sex in my condition? Or if not are there anyways or options that we can go for? Please help.

Welcome to health care magic,

Shirodakar's operation is done to close the cervix to retain pregnancy or to avoid spontaneous abortion.

If the surgical wound is healed completely then there is no issue with anal intercourse but if the wound is still in a healing phase then I would not advice you to not to have intercourse although it has no direct connection between cervix stitching.

As your operating surgeon has also advised not to do sexusl intercourse.

So,to be in a safer side you should wait for this surgical to heal completely.

After that you may have intercourse as per your doctor's suggestion.
