Is Anemia Or Thyroid Making My 4 Year Old Tired And Eat More?

Hello, my 4.5 year old lacks energy, tires easily and seems to trip easily. He doesn't complain of dizziness though. Also he's very slim but seems to be hungry all the time. He eats a little bit but then an hour later is hungry again. Could he have anemia or a thyroid problem? Thanks.

dear ma'm, hi! usually a child of 4.5 yrs is very active, difficult to make them sit still for 5 minutes also. so definitely there is a problem with the baby. but what it is can only be assessed after the child undergoes some tests. so you must check his thyroid profile, his CBC, stool routine, urine routine, anti- TTGA RFT, LFT. does he has family history of thyroid problem? do let us know the results so probably we can help you. regards!
