Is Angiography Advisable For An Elderly Person With The Following Heart Condition?

In 1998, PPI pacemaker was implanted on my father, 84 year old. It was replaced in 2012 with PIPGR with the following battery status: Base rate 60 UTR 130 He is taking the following medicines: Ecosprin Lasilactone Macpril 5 mg S.Numulo 5 mg Echo report of my father is enclosed. Please advise whether the angiography has to be done or advice some other treatment.

hello,

your father is having pacemaker which increses heart beat,so pacemaker is given to treat brachycardia.the medicines he is taking are anticoagulants to prevent clot at pacemaker.

now your corcen is angiography,it is usally done to find blockage in heat veins & valves.your father doesnt seem to have blockage because he is not having heart attack.

you can monitor status of his heart through echocardigram,if any complications are there in echo then further go for other investigations
