Angioplasty is done for me. It was wonderful in fact as the procedure is going on the doctor was showing everything to me on the TV screen. My blood vessels how were they blocked, how much blocked. I could see that the blood is not flowing at some places because of fat there. Later I could see the doctor passed a balloon like thing and widened the area. after that the blood started flowing. One should see this and should take care of themselves with good food and exercise post angioplasty so that the fat is not deposited there

First you need an angiography to know what is the status of the blood vessel to decide whether you require angioplasty with stent or bypass surgery.

The bypass surgery is a big operation it takes months to recover, where as angioplsty is a small surgery and the patient is comfortable with in one week, I think angioplasty is the best

by pass surgery means..they will bypass the affected blood veesel..by creating another route for blocked blood flow .and angioplasty with stent..means...they will open the closed blood vessls and put a stent in the vessle so that it will not be collapsed once again..it depends upon tthe doctor..
