You have been on medicines for anxiety since last 1 year. You have symptoms like shakiness in hands and legs, difficulty in sleeping. The medicines have not proven effective. You were on Dothiapine 75 mg and Clonazepam 0.25 and then shifted to Mirtazepine 7.5 and Lorazepam 1 mg per day.
Anxiety is non specific fear with sense of doom. Dothipine is a tricyclic drug and some time it fails to show its complete effect. Mirtazepine is anti-depressant and anti-anxiety drug. The drug also helps in sleep. As your symptoms are not under control then there is need to add some another drug or to increase the dose of drug.
Other medicines like SSRIs as Fluoxetine, Escitalopram, Paroxetine etc can help in controlling anxiety. Paroxetine even will help in sleep.
For control of shakiness drugs like Propranolol, Nodolol etc are used. The drug Propranolol helps in controlling tremors and palpitations. It helps to improve symptomatology of anxiety. I would advise you to consult your psychiatrist again for expert treatment.
For anxiety you can also try Relaxation Exercises like Breathing exercises, Progressive Muscle Relaxation Exercises. These will provide supportive role in treatment.
Hope this helps you, thanks
