Is Arthritis Related To Painful Stiff Joints And Knots On The Hands?

My sister, treated and cured of colon cancer in 2008. Now has aching joints, red elbows, pain and stiffness. Trouble getting out of bed, knots on hands and cant squeeze. Had a physical Feb 2017 and told everything looked good but needed to take more calcium and vitamin D. Could this be arthritis or something more serious.

Possibility of rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing sodalities can be considered

Rheumatoid arthritis may involve small joints and early morning stiffness in joints, does she have such complain?

A treatment regimen for Rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis involves medication, exercise, good posture practices, and other treatment options such as applying heat/cold to help relax muscles and reduce joint pain.
