Is Back Pain While On BP Medication Due To Issues With My Kidneys?
i think i might be getting a kidney infection back hurts but nothing else i am on meds for high blood pressure not been on for long time maybe a month but feels like sore muscles in upper backright below shoulder blades and above middle of back on both sides

Blood pressure can be secondary to kidney problem. Kidney pain is felt on pressure at the lower border of 12th rib at the point where it crosses erecter spinal muscle. If you have such pain. get investigated for kidney function test and consult a nephrologist.

Blood pressure with back ache can be due to kidney infection (but it would be in lumber region, a bit below you say) or spondylitis in thoracic spine causing root pressure causing you the pain. This can be differentiated by consulting a urologist or imaging investigation like MRI. This confirmation would help in treatment for pain and blood pressure also.
