Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a tetanus vaccine yesterday night at 10:30. Because earlier that day i had been cut by some rusted metal. The wound was very minor so the doctor said it was okay. I was just wondering if it is okay to shower after the vaccination. I have heard that showering can cause the vaccine to release too early which is bad. Is this true? Is it safe to shower after any vaccination? If not how long do I wait until I can?
Hello Dear. No harm in bathing after taking tetanus vaccine. There is no relation between taking tetanus vaccine and bathing. You can bath as usual.
