Is Bipolar Disorder, Related With Extreme Mood Swings?

hi well i've been having some problems lately. well not lately, but for a while. i think i am bipolar. i randomally go through some bad mood swings. at all times. i get really sad and cry then all of a sudden i get extremely happy out of no where and hyper then i get mad at the stupidest stuff out of no where and i just go through so many emotions in about an hour only. so i was just wondering if this could be bipolar disorder?

Psychiatrist 's  Response

Hello,

Symptoms you have mentioned are frequently reported by patients suffering from a mood disorder but a detailed evaluation is necessary before something can be said conclusively.

I am recommending you to try an online Bipolar disorder screening quiz. If you get high scores, this indicate that you should see a psychiatrist for proper evaluation.
