Is Black Stool Normal While On Iron Tablets?
my husband has a very tight feeling in his chest. H spent 4 days in hospital. Given 3 blood transfusions. Discharged with instructions to take iron capsules 150 mg daily. not feeling better. now more fatigue and tight chest. Dr. says to keep on taking. iron pill. He will eventurally will feel better. His stool is now black Does this sound right.
