Is Bleeding And Oozing Pus From A Swollen Montgomery Gland Normal In Pregnancy?

i was having pain in my boob around my areola. one of the montgomery glands was swollen and was very tender to the touch. i squeezed it even though it didnt look like a pimple. there was no white head or anything. it spit out alot of puss and started bleeding and now its swollen. i cant find anything online about this and im not sure if its a problem. im 32 weeks pregnant. could that have something to do with it? im a 20 year old female and havent had any serious medical history.

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion it might be a infection of Montgomery tubercle or a breast abcess. The definite diagnosis can be made only by physical examination. You need to consult your doctor as the antibiotics might be needed either topical or oral.Dont worry. It will subside and it's not a major problem.
