Is Bleeding From Lumps Around Burn Wound Normal While Healing?

I have a burn on my stomach that got infected. I was in the hospital for five days. A day or so after coming home, I started to get multiple hard white lumps that are visible in my wound. They hurt and bleed but nothing else comes out of them. I tried squeezing them but it only caused my more pain. Is this normal for a healing burn? Also, I am a type 2 diabetic.

Hi.
As per your case history of burns, my treatment advice is -
1. Yes it is normal to bleed from burns while healing.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
