Is Bleeding Normal After Having Sex For The First Time, And How Long Will It Last?

So I just had sex for the first time, and my partner kind of inserted his penis but we stopped because it hurt. I know I wasn't properly lubricated. I just went to the bathroom and there was some blood, is this normal? How long will it last? How dark is it supposed to be? Is everything okay?

Hello,
At the time of first intercourse, the hymen or the covering over the vaginal opening ruptures and this can result in bleeding or spotting and this is fresh blood discharge. This usually subsides within a day or two and may be associated with pain in the vaginal introitus. If the bleeding does not subside or if the pain is persistent, you need help from a specialist to overcome the situation. Please abstain from further intercourse until the bleeding subsides. Please maintain genital hygiene. Hope your query has been clarified. Take care.
