Brown color of the discharge usually indicates the collected blood in the uterus and that may not have any specific significance if it is not associated with risk factors like increased endometrial thickness, uncontrolled bleeding, etc. According to your age better to get evaluated once. Please consult your gynecologist once, get examined and go for an ultrasound. If everything is normal, no need to worry, you can continue with Depo provera. Take care.
