Hello,

First of all, there is a good way to differentiate between the brain fluid (CSF) verses fluid from nose.
1.Try to see if you are able to sniff back the fluid from your nose (You can not sniff back the brain fluid completely)
2. Use a handkerchief to clean the fluid of the nose and see if that becomes stiff upon drying, if yes then it is not brain fluid. Usually the brain fluid is clear and watery.
3. Ear needs further investigation as to why the fluid is coming and if it is allergic, infective etc.
4. If you are taking the treatment for sinusitis , please continue that. if not then you can take Tab Claritin 10mg once a day, Flonase nasal spray 2puffs twice a day for 2 weeks. You can also take steam inhalation with some liquid Vicks in it twice a day.
If you develop any dizziness, loss of consciousness, vomiting then consult your Dr immediately.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
