Is Bleeding Sores On Scalp And Lump On Neck Related?

I have a lump in my lymph gland (my doc has confirmed this) and sores which bleed on my scalp and a lump (as if I have bumped my head, which I have not ) on the left hand side at the nape of my neck.no cold symptoms (sore throat etc)could these symptoms all be related to each other and if so any idea on what it might be please?

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

I would keep a possibility of scalp infection with enlargement of regional lymph nodes.

I would advice that you get a prescription for an Oral antibiotic from your local practitioner.

Topical OTC antibacterial ointment e.g mupirocin 2% twice daily along with washing the scalp with a 5% cetrimide solution would help in curing the scalp infection
