Is Blood In Urine During High Risk Pregnancy Normal?

Please type your query here... hi. my wife is 8months pregnant and went to pee earlier and she noticed some blood. she went again now and she say it stopped. bear in mind shes a high risk pregnancy cause shes small built and our first child was vacume suctioned. born wid cerebral palsy

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the blood in urine might be due to urine infection.But i suggest you to consult doctor to rule out any vaginal bleeding or any urine infection.A complete urine examination might be needed to rule out infection.Adequate rest is advised.Take fluids upto 2-3 litres,coconut water,cranberry juice to prevent urinary tract infection.
