Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Raised Area Between Eyebrows In A Child Suffering From Quadriplegia/cerebral Palsy?
my 12 year old daughter who has quadraplegic cerebral palsy, has been unwell (cold like symptoms) for 3 days now. When putting her to bed tonight I noticed that she has a raised area in the area just above the space between her eyebrows. The left side is soft and spongy and the right side feels as though it has a hard object opproximately 2mm squared and about 1mm high. I thought it could be sinus related but am still concerned.
I do not think this is related to cerebral palsy. I do not this is not related to sinusitis either. It might be a dermoid cyst. But it cannot appear like that in 3 days. I suggest it is better to have a direct consultation with her pediatrician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
