Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When I pee I wipe blood I thought it was my period but it not heavy like always it light ,I put a pad but blood is never leaking on it ,it only do it when I wipe what the cause of that please I need to know,am having unprotected sex for the last two week
Welcome and thanks for the consult. I appreciate your concerns. I have reviewed your query about bleeding after sexual intercourse. It may be due to some disease of the uterus or ovaries and you need to consult an OBGYN for that. Further assessment can reveal the cause of bleeding. Your OBGYN may go for tranvaginal ultrasound to rule out causes.
Sometimes, this type of bleeding is due to hormonal imbalances/fluctuations. Women on contraceptive pills may also have bleeding that is in days other than regular menstrual periods (this is called breakthrough bleeding).
Hope it helps. Ask for more if you have doubts or questions. My direct and quick link is: tinyurl.com/drhanifmd
