Is Blood In Vomit Normal While Suffering From Pyelonephritis?
Hi, I recently developed pyelonephritis and had to be hospitalized. I have been taking cipro for about 4 days now, but last night I was vomiting for around 6 hours and by the end of it I noticed a little blood. Granted not a lot at all but there was some in there, what do I do? My back hurts severely.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if blood in vomit normal while suffering from pyelonephritis . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like acute liver failure , alcohol use disorder , aspirin , esophageal cancer , esophageal varices , gastritis , pancreatitis , peptic ulcer or milk allergy . It doesn't seems to me occurring due to pyelonephritis . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test , endoscopy , blood test and take history . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , proton pump inhibitors , H-2 blockers , antacids or sucralfate .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
