Is Blood Pressure Of 85/67 Normal With Pulse Rate Of 66?
Good Evening
Suffering from high blood pressure, and taking the necessary medication, i did took my wife's bloodpressure just to see what it might be. To my surprise it registered as 85/67 with a pulse rate of 66. She is 51 years of age and have always been weighing between 45 - 47kg's. Anything to worry about yet?
I have read your query and its my pleasure answering it, her pulse rate is perfectly within normal range and regarding her BP yes it is slightly towards the lower side. Ideally it should not be more than 140/90 and not less than 90/70 mmHg. But if she is comfortable and do not have any symptoms while doing her daily activities (for eg lightheaded or dizziness) nothing to worry about. And at times if she do feel the symptoms tell her to increase a bit of salt in diet , or have a cup of strong coffee and she will be alright. And always maintain healthy lifestyle like going daily for a walk, avoiding food containing saturated fats, junks food, avoid smoking.
Good Luck
