Is Blood Sugar Value Of 128 A Cause For Concern?

Hello, My blood test in April Showed blood sugar @128 The doctor says with diet and exercise it can get better, But I feel very lethargic , an empty feeling in stomach like hunger. Its very hot in Fl at the moment could that have an something to do with by health?

Hi,

This depends on whether this was done in fasting state, post prandial state or just a random test. If fasting, this is just above normal level and need diet control and exercise, as your doctor has rightly said. If not getting controlled, we may need drug treatment.

Doing HbA1C test will give a more clear idea. You can discuss the same with your doctor. I don't think the present symptoms are related to this, but we need more clinical details to comment on this.
