Is Blood Transfusion Advisable While Suffering With Abdominal Cramps And Diarrhea?
My 84 year old father was diagnosed 4 months ago with acute myleofybrosis he gets blood transfusions fortnightly but he is suffering with severe cramps pain in his abdomen and has recently for the past week he has diaroeea so therefor he is due to have his usual 2 units of blood tomorrow but the haematologist does not want him for his bloods until this has cleared my question is ,,Is this a symptom of. End stages of myleofybrosis?
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your father's symptoms of abdominal cramps and diarrhoea following blood transfusion for Acute myelofibrosis I will suggest he developed an autoimmune gastritis possible from the blood transfusion
In view of this please let him take the following Tablet omeprazolecimetidine gestid suspension
No this is not the end stage of the myelofibrosis
I hope this helps Regards
